What’s to be done for water leakage of the rubber internal mixer ?

The mechanical equipment is used for too long, It will inevitably lead to this or that kind of failure, Rubber Internal Mixer is no exception. What should be done if there is leakage in rubber internal mixer.


In fact ,The water-leakage condition of rubber internal mixer is very rare, the reasons of leakage are mainly carbon black, because black carbon can absorb the moisture in the air,  It will produce large amounts of water vapor when the mixing degrees reached 100 degrees during working ,

And it’s going to be mistaken for water-leakage because of the accumulated into water when mixing the materials, The way to eliminate water vapor is that lift the pressure cap several times during each mixing process to remove the water vapor ,then there will be no water.


If the mixer leaking water, first of all, you should check whether the raw material contains a lot of water, if not, you should check whether the matrial port is perfect, then try rotor, mixer chamber, discharging door, hammer, and observe leakage location.
